Vol. 134 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Payment for Bandon Land.

asked the Minister for Lands why the Land Commission have not paid a person in Ballymountain, Bandon, for the land they took from him in May, 1951, and when it is proposed to make this payment.

The purchase money of the estate in question was placed to credit shortly after possession of the lands had been obtained but it cannot be allocated until title has been proved. It is expected that the vendor will be in a position to discharge rulings on title next month and, if so, it may be possible to allocate the pur chase money in a matter of weeks.
