Vol. 135 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Laois Bog Road.

Mr. O'Higgins

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware of the urgent need for the execution of repair work to a bog road at Cush, Clonaslee, upon which 22 families rely for the transport of their turf and whether he will have the execution of this work considered immediately under the bog development scheme.

A grant has been sanctioned for the repair of a road in the townland of Cush Upper from the bridge near Bernard McCann's house to Miss Dempsey's bog; and I presume that this is the road in question.
