Vol. 135 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Regional General Hospital

asked the Minister for Health if he will state if he is yet in a position to invite tenders for the building or the site development of the proposed regional general hospital at Wilton, Cork; and, if not, if he will indicate the reasons for the delay.

In view of the unexpectedly high estimated cost of the regional hospital at Wilton, I am having the position re-examined in my Department to see what economies might be possible. This re-examination is well advanced and I hope to be in a position to put suggestions to the local authority early in the New Year.

After so many years.
