Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Wexford Telephone Service.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will extend the telephone exchange service in Ballywilliam, County Wexford, to 10 p.m. to facilitate subscribers in that area.

The extension of hours of service requested will be granted when the number of subscribers connected to the exchange— at present seven-reaches ten or earlier if the cost of the additional exchange attendance involved is borne by the subscribers interested.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will take steps to provide a central broadcasting and receiving station which would make a radio telephone service available to private individuals desiring to send or receive messages within the State.
