Vol. 136 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Dispensary.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware of the urgent necessity for a dispensary at Glassagh, Derrybeg, County Donegal; and, if so, if he will take immediate steps to have a dispensary established there.

I have not received any representations concerning the provision of a dispensary at Glassagh, Derrybeg, County Donegal.

In April, 1951, a dispensary depot was established at Meenacladdy which is approximately two miles east of Glassagh. I understand that the dispensary doctor does not now attend at this depot owing to the absence of patients.

If the local authority considers that there is a necessity for a depot at Glassagh, I am prepared to consider any proposals which they submit.
