Vol. 136 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Government Schemes.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if Congressional approval for schemes submitted by the Government for the use of certain grant moneys has yet been obtained; and, if so, what are the schemes to be put into operation.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The second part, therefore, does not arise.

Have any proposals been submitted to the American administration in regard to the utilisation of the grant counterpart fund under the E.R.P. scheme?

Have any communications been received as to the attitude of the American administration in regard to these proposals?

Will the proposals be made available to the House?

They will, when the proposals are finally completed and approved.

I understood the Minister to say that they had been completed and submitted to the American authorities.

When they have been approved, the House will be informed.

When they have been dealt with. We will not be told until it is finally decided upon?
