Vol. 136 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kildare Turbary.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring the turbary on the Hemmingway estate at Ballynakill, Carbury, County Kildare, for division among local applicants; and, if so, with what result.

Proceedings are in progress for the acquisition of the estate in question, which includes a small area of turbary.

Has a decision to acquire been taken?

An objection came before the commissioners and was disallowed. The proceedings will go ahead.
