Vol. 136 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Roscommon Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether theLand Commission have yet prepared a scheme for the division of the Kelly estate, Carrownageelaun, Tulsk, County Roscommon, including the turbary rights; and, if so, when the scheme is likely to be put into operation.

A scheme for the allotment of this estate has not yet been prepared.

Is there any possibility that that scheme will be prepared before the 31st March, to be in operation for the spring?

I do not think so. The staff in Roscommon are occupied at the moment, I am informed, with more urgent matters and to deal with these I am afraid it will be necessary to postpone this particular matter.
