Vol. 136 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Wicklow Forestry Workers' Wages.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is now prepared to pay forestry workers employed at the Shankill forest, who are resident in County Wicklow, the same rates of wages as forestry workers resident in County Dublin employed at the same forest.

Shankill property is part of Enniskerry forestry centre, the greater part of which lies in County Wicklow. All unskilled adult workers employed on the ordinary duties of forestry workers at Enniskerry forestry centre are paid the County Wicklow rate of wages, which at present is 90/- a week.
