Vol. 136 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rathangan Bog Road Repair.

asked the Minister for Finance if, as requested, he will make available a grant for the repair of the bog road at Cushaling, Rathangan, County Kildare.

I assume that the road referred to by the Deputy is that described as leading from the Rathangan-Edenderry county road at a point 600 yards north of Michael Doyle's house and going east to the Glann Bog at Thomas Kavanagh's bank with a branch north to Patrick Fitzpatrick's bank and south to the bridge at George Hipwell's plot. My information is that the turbary served by this road in the townland of Cushaling is the property of the Land Commission, and the question of carryingout any necessary development work would, therefore, be one for consideration by that Department.
