Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Road Workers' Wages.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the rate of wages paid to road workers by each local authority in the State on 31st January, 1953.

The information requested as regards road workers of county councils is in the form of a tabular statement which I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to have circulated in the Official Report. As regards other road authorities, details of wage rates paidon 31st January, 1953, are not available in my Department, but when all the returns of wage rates paid on 31st December, 1952, by these authorities are received I will send a further statement to the Deputy.
