Vol. 138 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Laois School.

asked the Minister for Education whether, in view of the grave need for a new school at the Swan, Wolfhill, County Laois, he will take all possible steps to ensure that the work of erecting same will be commenced immediately.

I am aware of the need for the erection of a new school at the Swan, Wolfhill, Laois. Certain preliminary arrangements, which are being attended to, must, however, be completed before the Department will be in a position to sanction a grant towards the cost of the new school. Every effort will be made to have these arrangements completed as expeditiously as possible.
