Vol. 138 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Small Dwellings Loans.

Mr. A. Byrne

asked the Minister for Local Government if the rates of interest to be charged on small dwellings loans to applicants whose claims were before the Dublin County Council for many months prior to the extension recently of Dublin City boundary have yet been decided and if he will ensure that the interest charges will not exceed 3¾ per cent. and that sufficient money will be made available.

The interest rate on advances under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts to applicants in the added area who come within the terms of the statement made by me in the House on the 12th November last will not be affected by the extension of the city boundary.
