Vol. 140 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Mayo Bus Service.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware of the serious inconvenience caused to the large number of residents on the Swinford-Ballyvary-Castlebar road because of the absence of a bus service thereon, and if he will request C.I.E. to put a bus service on that route immediately to facilitate the people of that area at least on market days and hospital visiting days.

The responsibility for meeting the demand for transport facilities generally rests on the board of C.I.E. and representations in regard to the adequacy of the transportfacilities should be made direct to the board.
