I am informed by An Bord Iascaigh Mhara that such proposals are not at present in contemplation in regard to Arklow in particular. That fishing centre will. of course, be considered in connection with any steps to be taken by the board for the improvement of marketing conditions generally at fishing ports. I understand that, because of its convenient situation to the Dublin wholesale fish market, no serious difficulty arises in the marketing of fish landed at Arklow.
