Vol. 141 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Commission Temporary Lettings.

Mr. O'Higgins

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the total acreage of land in respect of which temporary lettings were made by the Land Commission in the year 1952.

Of lands taken over under the Land Acts, 1923-50, the Land Commission made temporary lettings of 47,500 acres last year. About 20,000 acres of this area were arable or good grazing land.
