Vol. 142 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Russian Steamship in Dublin.

asked the Minister for Justice if any special watch is kept by the Gardaí on the crew of the Russian steamship Volokolamskto ensure that no Communistic activities are undertaken by them while in Dublin.

Mr. Boland

This is the sort of question that it is not in the public interest to answer.

Might I ask the Minister if he is satisfied that a closewatch is kept on the crew of this ship lest they engage in Communistic activities here?

Mr. Boland

I am satisfied that the police know their job.

That question is the question on the Order Paper.

Mr. Boland

Let Deputy Flanagan mind himself.

I have my eye closely on you.
