Vol. 143 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Valuation of Agricultural Land.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the valuation on 1st April, 1952, and 1953, of the agricultural land in each county council area in respect of which the collection of rates is made direct by the county council, that is, excluding land in urban areas, etc., in respect of which the county council make their demand on the local body concerned.

The answer to the Deputy's question is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be incorporated in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

LAND VALUATION OF COUNTIES (EXCLUDING URBAN DISTRICTS AND COUNTY BOROUGHS)

NOTE: The particulars given relate to all land included in the Valuation lists. "Agricultural land" is not separately shown in the lists, but the valuation is in all cases based on the agricultural productivity of the land.
