The average annual cost per patient in the year 1951-52 in the district mental hospitals was £149 19s. 6d. and in the Youghal auxiliary mental hospital £83 4s. 1d.
The average annual cost in the year 1952-53 in the district mental hospitals was £156 7s. 4d. and in the Youghal auxiliary mental hospital £84 4s. 3d.
