Vol. 143 No. 2

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business on the Order Paper in the following order: No. 4, No. 7 (Estimates) as on the paper except that Votes 22 and the supplementary for 22 will be taken after 68. Public business will be interrupted at 9.30 p.m. to take Private Deputies' business.

Is the Minister able to give any information as to when the House is likely to get No. 3 on the Order Paper, in view of the promises which the Taoiseach made in Galway?

He will wait until the next by-election.

On a previous occasion the Tánaiste was good enough to saythat if I asked at a subsequent stage he would be able to tell me when the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Local Government would implement their undertakings to legislate on the two private Bills I had before the House, the discussion of which we have adjourned. An opportunity has not offered for the Tánaiste to give me that information since. Perhaps the Minister would direct his attention to that matter and inquire if at his convenience the Tánaiste would let me know.

Perhaps the Deputy would be able to raise the matter to-morrow.

Certainly.
