Vol. 144 No. 1

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - House Plans.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state how many types of plan are available for purchase from his Department for (a) three-roomed; (b) four-roomed, and (c) five-roomed houses.

I understand that plans approved by my Department for nine types of five-roomed houses are at present available from the Government Publications Sale Office, but that, due to a printing delay, copies of approved plans for three-roomed and four-roomed houses are temporarily not on sale but are expected to be available in the immediate future.

Would the Minister say when they were on sale last? My information is that they have not had any for 12 months.

That is a different matter. There was a period where we were revising these plans or proposing to revise them and that may have resulted in their non-appearance for a period. Anyhow, it is a separate question.

How soon will they be there?

You would not tie me to a day or a week?

I would try, but would not succeed.
