Vol. 144 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Friesian Cattle.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state whether it is proposed to introduce Friesian bulls into the artificial insemination station at Castleisland before the breeding season starts in May.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will put a pure-bred Friesian bull at the disposal of the farmers of Kerry by locating one at the Castleisland artificial insemination station for the coming season.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to reply to Questions Nos. 52 and 53 together.

It is hoped to purchase sufficient Friesian bulls for artificial insemination purposes to enable a service to be provided therewith in County Kerry from the Castleisland station during the coming season.
