The Cork airport will be a State airport but arrangements for its management have not yet been settled. The airport will be suitable for internal, cross-Channel and European air services, and it will be constructed in the Ballygaroan area about four miles south of Cork City. Its exact location will be settled when a detailed survey of the area has been completed.
