Vol. 144 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Boat Slip.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that at least one fishing boat and the gear of several other boats were lost during the month of January, 1954, owing to the non-repair of the slip at Teelin harbour, County Donegal; and, if so, if he will take steps to have this slip effectively repaired forthwith.

I am not aware that the losses referred to can be ascribed to the cause mentioned. The maintenance of Teelin slip in good condition is the responsibility of the county council. I have received no representations as to the need for repairs to the structure.
