Vol. 144 No. 7

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Road Traffic Regulations.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware of the urgent necessity to introduce proposals for legislation to amend the Road Traffic Act, 1933, in view of the change in traffic conditions and if he will make new road traffic regulations without delay to meet the most pressing needs in the matter.

Proposals for the amendment of the Road Traffic Act, 1933, are at present being examined by the Departments concerned. The Deputy's question does not indicate the matters which he considers might be dealt with in new regulations.
