Vol. 144 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Petrol Station.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the proposal to erect a petrol filling station at The Rise, Mount Merrion, and of the strong objection of the residents of Mount Merrion to the proposed location of this petrol station; and, if so, if he will refuse permission to erect such station.

Permission for the erection of a filling station at The Rise, Mount Merrion, was refused by the planning authority on the 12th June last and, on appeal, the refusal of permission was confirmed by me on the 28th August.

Permission for a similar proposal had been refused on the 6th February, 1952, and, on appeal, the refusal had been confirmed on 2nd September, 1952.
