As statistics concerning the numbers of persons registered at local offices of my Department are compiled only in respect of each Saturday, it is not possible to give the required information in respect of Friday, 5th March, 1954. The tabular statement which I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report shows, in respect of Saturday, the 6th March, 1954, the numbers of persons registered at the local offices mentioned by the Deputy.
The Statement is as follows:—
