I am informed by the E.S.B. that the combined Inchigeela and Ballingeary area was not selected for development under the rural electrification scheme when recently considered with other areas awaiting selection in the board's Cork No. 2 district. While the area will again be considered in due course the board is unable to state when development is likely to take place but suggests that the prospects of development could be improved by an increase in the number of householders in the area willing to take supply.
