Vol. 145 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Bridge.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the present position regarding the application from the Kerry County Council for a grant from his Department for the erection of the Cashen Ferry Bridge, County Kerry, and if, in view of the urgency of the matter, he will give a decision on the application at an early date.

The Kerry County Council were recently informed that a Road Fund grant of £18,750, or 75 per cent. of the net cost of the work, whichever is the lesser, has been allocated to them for the erection of a new bridge to replace the existing Cashen Ferry Bridge.
