Vol. 145 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bus Services—County Cork.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if in view of the need for a bus from Courtmacsherry, Berryroe area, to Clonakilty he will request C.I.E. to arrange for a scheduled service and if in view of the tourist value of the Red Strand and Dunowen he will ask C.I.E. to provide a bus from Clonakilty through Ardfield to these places.

Mr. Lynch

The responsibility for meeting the demand for transport facilities has been placed by the Transport Act, 1950, on the Board of C.I.E., appointed under that Act by the Government. I would suggest that the Deputy communicate direct with the board in the matter.
