Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Army Recruits from County Donegal.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the number of recruits received into the Irish Army from County Donegal from the 1st January, 1954, to date and the cost of the recruiting drive in this county during the same period.

The number of recruits received in the Army from County Donegal from the 1st January, 1954, to the 22nd instant was eight.

The cost involved in recruiting in that county during the same period was approximately £59.
