Vol. 145 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal New School.

asked the the Minister for Education if he can give any indication regarding the date of commencement of work on the erection of the new school at Lifford.

The reverend manager has offered a suitable site for the erection of a new national school at Lifford, but certain preliminary arrangements must be made before the Department will be in a position to sanction a grant towards the cost of the new school. The Department will endeavour to have these arrangements completed as soon as possible.

I am unable, at present, to give any indication as to when it is likely that work on the erection of the new school can be commenced.
