Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Widows' Pensions.

Mr. O'Higgins

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state in respect of (a) Laois and (b) Offaly the number of persons in receipt of a widow's pension.

The required figures as at 31st December, 1953, the latest date for which figures are available, are:— (a) Laois, 579; (b) Offaly, 693.
