Vol. 145 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Mayo Estate Turbary Allotment.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission will allot turbary plots for the coming season at reasonable prices on the McDermott estate, Clydagh, Ballycastle, in view of the fact that the bogs have been surveyed, and that great scarcity of turbary exists in the Lacken parish.

The Land Commission are not in a position to allot turbary plots on this bog for the coming season. I have asked the Land Commission to expedite their inquiries regarding the other shares in this bog not in their possession.
