Vol. 145 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tralee Firm's Grant.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that a grant of £2,500 allocated in March, 1952, to a Tralee firm under the Undeveloped Areas Act, 1952, for the preparation and packing of seaweed for export to the United States of America has now been withdrawn; and, if so, whether he will now have the application reconsidered in view of the fact that the firm has recently been offered a suitable site.

I have no functions in regard to the day-to-day administration of An Foras Tionscal. The Deputy may assume, however, that any representations which the trader concerned may make in the matter to An Foras Tionscal will be fully and sympathetically considered.
