asked the Minister for Local Government if he will indicate whether his Department has issued sanction for the underpinning of the sea wall near Browhead Quarry and the reconstruction of the sea wall at Ballynaule to prevent scouring by sea action of main road 2664.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will indicate whether his Department has issued sanction for the construction of the sea wall at the southern end of county road 2692 at Coosaphuca strand.

The schemes mentioned by the Deputy are included in a list of works described as "foreshore protection works" submitted by Cork County Council during the present month and are being considered in conjunction with proposals received generally for schemes to be financed with the aid of grants from the National Development Fund.
