asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that the remaining employees of the zinc and lead company at Shalee, Silvermines, received a month's notice terminating their employment on the 23rd April, 1954, and if he will state what steps have been taken by the Government to keep those mines working so as to provide employment for a large number of workers in the vicinity.
