Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Bog Roads.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware of the necessity for repairing and constructing bog roads in Caherciveen, Portmagee, Aghatubrid, Ballinskelligs, Master-geehy, Filemore, Glencar and Glenbeigh to enable turf producers to supply the turf-fired generating station at Caherciveen during the coming year.

The extent to which special financial provision will require to be made for the repair of roads such as those mentioned by the Deputy is receiving consideration.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the amount of money he proposes to allocate for the repair of roads leading to bogs and other places in North Kerry.

The following are the allocations from the Employment and Emergency Schemes Vote for the current financial year for accommodation and bog roads in the constituency of North Kerry.
