Vol. 147 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Hydro-Electric Scheme.

Mr. Flynn

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he will make representations to the E.S.B. to resume operations on the hydro-electric scheme on the Cummeragh River, Waterville, County Kerry.

I am informed by the E.S.B. that they are examining certain problems which have arisen in connection with the proposed scheme for the development of the Cummeragh River. The board have been asked to submit a report when they have completed this examination and I am not in a position at present to make any further statement on the matter.
