The survey of the River Moy catchment area has been completed, but a considerably further period will be needed to complete the design and preparation of a scheme which must then be exhibited and submitted to the Minister for confirmation in accordance with the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945. Pending compliance with the statutory requirements, it is not possible yet to say when works can be commenced.
Do I take it that the Parliamentary Secretary will do everything possible to speed up this work?
