Vol. 149 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tipperary Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission intend to divide the Cahill estate at Ballyboy, Clogheen, County Tipperary, in the immediate future.

The preparation of a scheme for the allotment of this holding must await the outcome of proceedings for the acquisition of certain other lands in the vicinity. It is therefore not possible to say at this stage when allotment will take place.

asked the Minister for Lands whether it is the intention of the Land Commission to sub-divide immediately the lands at Tullemaine and Killusty which have been acquired by them.

It is not yet possible to state when these lands will be allotted but there will be no avoidable delay.

The Land Commission have this land on hands for a number of years and, that being so, would it not be advisable to divide it immediately?

A scheme for the allotment is approved, but I cannot say when it will be implemented.
