asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state (a) the amount of Waterford County Borough's share of the £100,000 special road and street improvement grant allotted to the county borough councils and (b) the Waterford County Council's share of the £500,000 allotted for county roads.

The grants to the individual authorities out of the sum recently set aside from the Road Fund for grants to county borough corporations have not yet been determined but I hope to issue a decision in the near future and I will then communicate with the Deputy.
The county road improvement grant to Waterford County Council has been increased by £15,300 for the coming financial year.
