Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Galway Telephone Facilities.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will take immediate steps to expedite the installation of telephones in Galway City, which were applied for in 1954.

Nearly two-thirds of the telephones applied for in Galway Exchange area in 1954 have been installed. With the exception of some applications from outside the city proper which cannot be met pending completion of an underground scheme, the balance will be attended to within a few months.
