Vol. 149 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cleaning of Termon River.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he has approached the Six County Government with a view to taking joint action in the proposed cleaning of the Termon river at Pettigo, and, if so, with what result.

Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that the town development association of Pettigo have made representations to the Six Counties Government and have got a reply stating the matter is under consideration by that Government?

I am aware of that.

Is it proposed to take any action?

Not at the moment. No action is being taken at present by any State Department in the matter and no approach has been made to the Northern Ireland authorities.
