Vol. 152 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Disablement Benefit Payments.

asked the Minister for Health whether he is aware that payment of disablement allowances by the Meath County Council to persons who applied in October and November, 1954, is being made with effect from June, 1955, and, if so, if he will ascertain from the council why payment has not been made with effect from the date of application.

I have been informed by Meath County Council that payment of allowances granted under the Disabled Persons (Maintenance Allowances) Regulations, 1954, as from the date of receipt of application is being arranged.
