Vol. 153 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Road Workers' Pensions.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware of the great hardship suffered by many road workers in Tipperary, South Riding, because of the refusal to accept for pension purposes days worked on farms during the emergency at the express order of the county council; and, if so, if he will consider introducing the necessary amending legislation.

I am not so aware. Perhaps the Deputy would send me full particulars of any specific cases where such hardship has arisen.
