Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick City Health Charges.

asked the Minister for Health whether he has yet arrived at a decision in regard to the health charges of the Limerick Corporation and, if so, if he will state the nature of his decision.

My examination of the financial and other aspects of the health services in the areas of the Limerick Corporation and Limerick County Council has satisfied me that a unified health authority for the combined areas is desirable. I am at present in communication with the two health authorities concerned in regard to the establishment of such a unified authority.
