Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Removal of Driving Disqualifications.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the number, if any, of disqualifications from driving imposed for the offence of drunken driving which were removed, in whole or in part, in the periods (a) 14th June, 1951 to 2nd June, 1954, and (b) 3rd June, 1954 to date.

Disqualifications imposed for the offence of driving while drunk were remitted in 112 cases during the period from 14th June, 1951, to 2nd June, 1954. No such disqualification has been remitted since the 3rd June, 1954.
