I move:—
That it is expedient to authorise such payments out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas as are necessary to give effect to any Act of the present session to provide for the internment of prisoners of war and enemy aliens and to enable, so far as Ireland is concerned, effect to be given to and advantage taken of certain provisions contained in the conventions relative to the treatment of prisoners of war and the protection of civilian persons in time of war which were signed on behalf of Ireland at Geneva on the 19th day of December, 1949.
