Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Commission Wages.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in respect of the year ended 31st March, 1956, (i) the total amount expended by the Land Commission in wages, and (ii) the number of men engaged on Land Commission work in respect of each of the congested district counties.

The reply takes the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be circulated in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

Employment given and wages paid in respect of improvement works carried out by the Land Commission in the Congested Districts Counties during the year ended 31st March, 1956.
